Like thousands of young Filipinas, Lucy was a victim of sex trafficking.  Making her situation worse, Lucy's mom was responsible for her condition.  Driven by poverty, her mom would force her to expose herself to men in online chatrooms for money.  One day, Lucy discovered our devotional and began reading it.  It soon became a daily practice as she sought a mental and emotional escape from her situation and before long she fell in love with Jesus.  In time, Lucy found the inner strength to stand up to her mom.  As you can see from the joy in her eyes, Lucy is now healed, strong and confident and serving in ministry.
